What You'll Get
Adrenaline junkies are always looking for a bigger rush, whether that means jumping from a higher altitude or finding a larger tiger to let loose in their basement. Revel in the rush with this Groupon.
Choose Between Two Options
- $159 for a tandem skydive with a T-shirt for one (up to a $324 value)
- $315 for a tandem skydive with T-shirts for two (up to a $648 value)
The tandem jump begins with a 15-minute class on proper tandem-diving technique and safety checks. Jumpers then board the plane and take off, spending the next few minutes enjoying a scenic flight over the coastline of Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. At more than 2 miles above the ocean, instructors and students leap out of the plane for 40 seconds of pure free fall at 120 miles per hour, all videotaped by the jump camera. After that, the parachute deploys, and divers glide the final 5,000 feet to the landing site.
Though Skydive Coastal California sometimes features a discounted price online, this Groupon still offers the best deal available.

About Skydive Coastal California
Wind roars through the open door of the plane, as the instructor's shouts barely register through the adrenaline pounding in your ears. And as quickly as the roar came, it's replaced with the rushing air of free fall and the sight of miles and miles of California coastline. At Skydive Coastal California, this is how people experience the rush of skydiving. In addition to tandem dives for newcomers, the instructors also help students complete their first solo jumps with accelerated certification programs, and experienced USPA jumpers can join the fun on trips.
