After a 20- to 30-minute training session, guests strap themselves to U.S. Parachute Association–certified instructors and hop from a plane soaring 14,500 feet in the clouds. Wind whips through hair and parachutes balloon with air as pairs drift toward the ground after a 60-second freefall. Reservations must be made at least two weeks in advance, as Skydive Midwest can only accommodate 50 jumps per day.

Skydivers leap from a sleek and speedy N821DA KingAir jump ship, which boasts a glitzy new paint job, lightweight bench seating, and the ability to climb to 14,500 feet in only 8.5 minutes.
