The ranch is a great place to visit. The mountain coaster is the best. It has more hills and a longer ride than others in the area. We rode the skylift to the top. There was a live show up on top, a small petting zoo. A great restaurant and there was a food truck. There were also several fire pits to keep warm. A synchronized light show on the observation deck walkway was the highlight of the trip to the top.

What To Expect

It’s ALL ABOARD one of our covered wagons pulled by John Deere Tractors. This Safari Hayride Adventure is a family-friendly adventure that allows guests to have an up-close and personal look into the life of our ranch animals. Nestled within the 100-acre farm, you’ll get to visit many of our animals including llamas, donkeys, alpacas, longhorns, highland cows, sheep, goats, fallow and sika deer, and more!

This covered wagon experience gives guests opportunities to feed, pet, capture great photos, and be in close proximity with the animals. As the animals allow. We do not force animals to interact. You can even combine with SkyLand Ranch attractions including Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster and/or the General Admission with Scenic Chairlift to Skyland Ranch which features the new WagonWheeler Swing Tower, miniature animal encounters, live entertainment, and dining options (additional purchase may be required). The SkyLand Safari Hayride is more than a ride — it’s an immersive journey that brings together the spirit of the SkyLand Ranch, the wonder of animals, and the beauty of the Smokies. It’s a one-of-a-kind attraction in Sevierville that creates lasting memories for visitors of all ages.

  • Safari sessions are held in all weather conditions. There are no refunds unless the Safari is closed due to EXTREME WEATHER CONDITIONS. Please be advised this is a rare occasion and is at the sole discretion of SkyLand Ranch.
  • Guests must be able to transfer to wagons without assistance. No strollers or wheelchairs allowed on the Safari wagon.
  • Tickets are not valid on Saturdays.
  • Tickets do not include SkyLand General Admission with Scenic Chairlift and/or the Wild Stallion Mountain Coaster. However, they can be added at a discounted price at our Admissions Window.

    What a wonderful experience! So beautiful, clean and the entire staff was amazing! Food and drinks were also great. The live entertainment was excellent as well as the Christmas lights and decorations! Highly recommend! You pay once and can use your wristbands for 3 DAYS!
