Hi! We shoot in two ways: natural light in-studio (meaning a solid background) and natural light outside (with a natural background).

Q:

What is the difference between "portrait" and "headshot"?

Amy W.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

There is no real difference - both are shots of individuals from the waist up. Typically, actors use the term "headshot" while other people use the term, "portrait". You have more room with portraits since you don't have to follow any guidelines.

Q:

I need head shots for my 6 year old daughter. She obviously does not need makeup. She just needs someone to capture a really great look for her that will be eye-catching. Will this deal work for that?

Elda Y.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

Hi! Yes. We shoot children on a regular basis. Thanks for inquiring!

Q:

Hi Kimberely, 1. What is considered to be a fashion/Beauty/Artistic shoot? 2. What is considered to be a Catalogue shoot?

MANIZANI G.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

This deal is for headshots only. You can find the range of our headshots on our site in the "Headshots" section. Anything you see in that section we can do for this deal. Any images you find in the Beauty or Artistic section are not included and start at a much higher rate. One of the main differences is the Beauty, Artistic or Catalogue images tend to be full body. Thanks!

Q:

Kimberely, How much does it cost in addition to the $49 cost of this deal on Groupon to add an object to the picture? For example, a picture of me holding a perfume bottle, or the picture showing that I am sitting on a horse, something you would see in a fashion print ad magazine- altered and airbrushed? Thanks

MANIZANI G.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

The image is only a portrait - so meaning waist up. You can hold something in the picture, for example a magazine however we would not be able to take pictures of you on a horse. We do our own retouching - which includes airbrushing. We charge $20 for each retouched image. Thanks!

Q:

Hello, My sister and I are regular shoppers on Groupon, we buy things for ourselves or surprise our friends and families with wonderful gits from Groupon. anyway, to make a long story short, I recently bought this deal for myself and my sister not knowing I bought one already, she gave me one also as a gift and bought one for her son! Can I use both vouchers in ONE visit, or do I need to come in separate visits. Thanks

MANIZANI G.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

Yes, you can use both vouchers in one visit. Thanks!

Q:

Are the images we receive "final" enough that we would be able to use them for auditions? Is there normally retouching or anything that happens afterward? If so, how much extra would that be? Thanks!

Melissa V.  asked on  May 7, 2012

A:

All of the images are high res jpegs and ready for print. Many people use them "as is". We do however always suggest retouching due to the fact that it has become the norm in the industry. We charge $20 an image. Thanks!
