The SkyVenture indoor diving experience simulates free fall so accurately that skydiving teams often use the technology for training. The massive tunnel allows participants to float upward on a powerful, recirculating current of wind—rather than leaping from a higher point—so there is no sensation of falling.
Certified instructors prepare all guests with a 20-minute training session, teaching them techniques for airborne movement. Then, guests will take two 2-minute dive sessions, and at the end, the instructor will fling them back up to the top of the tunnel to descend a final time, a maneuver known as the Fly High experience.
