Founded by a Viennese hot air balloon pilot who fell in love with Utah's rugged landscape, Skywalker Balloon Company whisks hot air adventurers to heights of up to 4,000 feet during scenic balloon sojourns. Wrapped in jackets and close-toed shoes, flyers meet at sunrise to tuck themselves safely into the balloon's woven underbasket. Once aloft, goggle-eyed gliders can absorb sweeping views of rolling rural hills, rugged ski slopes, and mating clouds as the personable pilot regales them with European ballooning lore. After a 20- to 45-minute flight, pilot and passengers will touch down to earth to ring in the day with toasts of bubbly champagne or taciturn cider as the sky slowly lightens.

On each of the available dates (listed in the sidebar), Skywalker Balloon Company will hoist 10 or more passengers toward the sky dome in two back-to-back flights. Groups that gather 12 or more riders, such as runaway juries or football teams haunted by a ghostly extra player, can pick their own dates.
