About Skywater Wine Tasting Journey

Whether by horse, by kayak, or by foot, the guides at Skywater Wine Tasting Journey all travel in the same direction: towards the sound of a popping cork. On their guided hikes and tastings, they take visitors on invigorating nature jaunts before heading to some of the region's best wineries for relaxing tastings. The team is led by knowledgeable guide and Sierra Club member Dante Merat, whose expertise in the wilderness is matched only by his sommelier-like instincts for wine.
