About Sluggers World Class Sports Bar

It's hard to make your bar stand out on the bustling streets around Wrigley Field, but the owners of Sluggers World Class Sports Bar do just that. For one, the pounding keys of dueling pianos filter from the second floor on weekends and game days, playing guests' requests in a range of styles and tempos. But the entertainment doesn't stop there—a full game room comes alive as guests try their hand at air hockey, pop-a-shot, and skee-ball, or step inside an actual batting cage to practice their swing or empathize with a tiger.

Attractions aside, Sluggers still functions as a traditional drinking hole with a strong allegiance to the Blackhawks and Indiana University. Six 10-foot big-screen TVs and various other plasma screens constantly air sports, which helped earn Sluggers praise from ESPN and other outlets as a prime spot for game-day drinking. The bar serves beers and cocktails, while the kitchen doles out standard bar fare such as wings and burgers.
