Q:

So we are actually performing the whitening procedure ourselves?

 asked on  Feb 11, 2013

A:

We provide you with the equipment, gel and guidance. The teeth whitening tech walks you through the procedure making sure the gel and equipment is used correctly but yes you do apply the gel on your teeth your self. The reason we operate this way is so we dont have to have a dentist on staff applying the gel. As a result overhead for the business is lower and I can pass the savings on to the customer. We have the latest in technology as far as our equipment goes and we offer a high quality hydrogen peroxide gel.

Q:

How does this effect sensitive teeth?

blair b.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

In regards to teeth whitening, dehydration of the tooth is usualy what causes sesativity. We use a water based gel that doesnt tend to dehydrate the tooth causing sensitivity. If any sensitivity does occur, you are instructed to stop the whitening process and a refund is issued.

Q:

i have a 3 tooth bridge. will that whiten too or just my real teeth ? it is about 25-30 yrs old

alan k.  asked on  Feb 8, 2013

A:

The gel will seep into the pores of your real teeth and break down stains that are trapped inside of your teeth making them appear whiter. In regards to a bridge, the gel will break down surface stains that have built up over time and return the bridge back to the original color it was when it was first made.

Q:

Is this done by a dental professonal or dentist office?

shirley k.  asked on  Feb 7, 2013

A:

We are not a dental office. This is a guided practice. We do have a properly trained cosmetic teeth whitening technician on staff to guide you through the process. What you get with your purchase is access to our equipment, high quality 16% Hydrogen Peroxide Gel and guidance on how to properly whiten your teeth. The benefit of not having a dentist on staff is not having to pay such high price for the dentist to be on staff and we pass the savings on to you. We offer the latest in technology with our equipment and high quality gel. Cosmetic teeth whitening is the only service we offer and we take it very seriously.
