What You'll Get
Humans like to greet one another face-to-face, a procedure that grows difficult when the face is hidden by an opaque, featureless mask that absorbs all light. Make a nonterrifying first impression with today's Groupon to Smooth Lines Salon and Spa, a Bumble and bumble network salon in the Strand Shopping Center. Choose from the following options:
- For $32, you get a one-hour pedicure-and-paraffin treatment (a $65 total value).
- For $40, you get a Glo Mineral makeup application and a Bumble and bumble blowout (a $91 total value).
- For $79, you get a lactic peel, microdermabrasion treatment, and lip, eye, and hand treatment (a $170 total value).
The talented staff of Smooth Lines Salon and Spa style visitors from scalp to heel with services arrayed in a chic salon environment. Take an hour for your face with the lactic peel and microdermabrasion treatment, which separate dead skin and frown residue from their frontal post to help reveal a brighter, clearer complexion. After the microdermabrasion sloughs away dead skin cells, the GloLactic 15% peel and other Glo Therapeutic products are customized to each visage and painted onto mugs to further rejuvenate skin. If necessary, cleansing extractions are performed by microscopic hard-hatted miners. The peel and microdermabrasion include an eye, hand, and lip treatment, during which peepers, paws, and pouts are pampered with gently exfoliating scrubs and luxurious potions.
Glo Makeup consists of antioxidant properties, including vitamins A, C, and E, along with green-tea extract cultivated from freshly squeezed teapots. For 30–45 minutes, a stylist applies the triple-milled, ultrafine prettifying powders for a flawless look that typically lasts all day. The makeup also contains an SPF of up to 30 for a sophisticated alternative to the nose-perched parasol. The half-hour blowout begins with Bumble & bumble shampoo before more of the line's signature products step onto the scalp stage and put on a hairy show. The Bumble & bumble University–trained stylists then teach each client how to style their own strands at home.
Toes receiving the one-hour pedicure dip into relaxing lavender, energizing green tea, invigorating espresso, or stylish toe hats. After the soak, tootsies are cleansed and nails are trimmed and shaped. A scrub exfoliates, followed by toasty towels that swaddle hooves before the foot and leg massage and hydrating paraffin finale. Sip infused water, tea, or coffee while waiting for any of the myriad services to commence or surf the salon's WiFi with a cappuccino mug or wine glass held between soon-to-be manicured digits.

About Smooth Lines Salon
The high ceilings and white walls at Smooth Lines Salon set clients at ease as owner Michelle Taylor and her staff of trained stylists, aestheticians, and massage therapists give bodies a beauty boost. As a Bumble and bumble network salon, stylists undergo advanced training in cutting and styling in New York City to keep their skills as sharp as their hair-cutting implements. The salon's collaborative environment encourages stylists to work with colorists to perfect texture and overall presentation, creating a coiffure masterwork that rivals Duchamp's iconic This is not a wig. Tea, coffee, and wine keep clients comfortable as they await beautification.
