Great class, can't wait to practice this summer and come back for the next class.

I really enjoyed the presentation and thought the instruction to be pretty clear and understandable, however, I think I'll be needing to take the class over again to understand it even better.
Kaye D. · March 9, 2015
The course covered some concepts that didn't apply to my camera but were interesting and informative nontheless. However, I don't recall seeing camera requirements in the Groupon description.

What You'll Get

Naturally persnickety creatures, cameras act up when they want attention by demanding their operators focus and by making empty threats of becoming a polaroid. Keep your photo box in line with today's Groupon: for $59, you get a three-hour Photography Made Easy Basics digital-camera group course (a $150 value) at SnapShotSandy, located in North Bend.

Sandy Horvath imparts photo fledglings and savvy shutterbugs alike with photo-capturing know-how. Each three-hour Photography Made Easy Basics course trains beginner photographers of all ages while maintaining an average size of six students, providing participants with enough instructor attention to ask questions regarding shutter synchronizations and methods to effectively capture the ruby-red colors of Sasquatch's Armani-designed dresses. Picture pupils should bring digital cameras to learn about their technical organs and to let an experienced camera craftsperson help adjust their settings for optimal results in future photos of sunsets, snowcapped mountain ranges, and hot tub encounters with Ted Danson. Take advantage of the class's hands-on approach, which lets students explore their newly acquired snapshooting knowledge and discuss techniques to improve framing, focusing, and lighting.

About SnapShotSandy

Before Sandy Horvath retired from his career as a sales manager, he spent his spare time chronicling the lives of his loved ones and documenting his own travels throughout the world. Over time, his love for his craft blossomed into a thirst to become an admired photographer, so Sandy started submitting his action-packed sports photos to newspapers and magazines. With the publication of his work came professional status and a desire to share his knowledge with others. His first opportunity arose in 2009 when the Si View Metropolitan Park District asked him to teach a class. Soon after, the Issaquah Parks District clamored for Sandy's expertise; he now has over 2000 Club SnapShot students and more joining every day.

Today, Sandy teaches students of all ages and skill levels how to transform snapshots into high-quality pictures with lenses, settings, and exposures during his basic, advanced, and creative classes. He loves helping novice shutterbugs abandon automatic settings—the training wheels of photography—and create memorable images with nothing but manual settings and high-tech freeze rays.
