Partially fulfill your childhood horse dreams with today’s Groupon: for $30, you’ll get one hour of private horse training and English-riding instruction at Snowdonia Farms, a $65.
Your equine education comes from pony pro Jayne Stewart, a certified instructor and Talland Equestrian Center alum who’s been training eventers, dressage riders, and jumpers for more than 25 years; trained with Yogi Briesner (current coach to British Olympic Eventing team); and spent two years learning about horses as the back of a two-person horse costume. During your one-on-one session, you’ll be briefed on everything bronco—from care and preparation to riding techniques to the real reason they canceled Mister Ed.
Transportation by animal gives many a sense of companionship and connection with nature. Mounted on the back of a mare, you’ll not only learn the skills to explore lush landscapes inaccessible by car or M1 Abrams tank, but you'll also discover an animal friend who will nuzzle his way into your heart while preparing a wide variety of gourmet vegan dishes. Being skilled in the saddle could bring you ribbons, wealth, stronger thigh muscles, and potential for a new filly-focused career (jockey, rodeo star, actor who performs every part on horseback, etc.).
Jayne offers lessons for anyone older than seven. Get this Groupon for your 4-H club–loving little sister or grandmother who writes letters to local newspapers complaining about how she never got to take a one-hour, private horse training and riding lesson at Snowdonia Farms.

What You Did Not Know: Famous Horses
Americans love horses, as evidenced by the numerous horses that have achieved fame and fortune. Here’s what you didn’t know about some of our most beloved horses:
Secretariat: Sure, he won the Triple Crown, but nobody remembers his greatest accomplishment: being a great dad.
Seabiscuit: The Best Horse in America became a symbol of hope during the Great Depression, an innocent time when Americans rallied behind horses, well-baked pies, and anything remotely great that wasn’t a depression.
Mr. Ed: At the height of his popularity, this acting horse received more than 1,000 fan letters a week, and ate every single one.
