Personal trainer Sara OLeary founded So Fitness because she wanted a brightly lit studio where clients could participate in personal training, group training, and boot camps using classic equipment. Though it resulted in a great place for her to work with many of her clients, she discovered that some people felt more comfortable working out at home, so she expanded her offerings to include virtual fitness training. Using a high-speed Internet connection and Skype, she connects with clients wherever they may be, providing real-time feedback as they work out with personal equipment at home or a favorite cafe with free WiFi.
Sara also increased the variety of fitness options offered at her studio by bringing certified Pilates instructor Courtney Holcomb in to lead small group mat classes. The exercises focus on strengthening core and muscles while keeping bodies in proper alignment.
