Q:

The groupon states $99 for one application. Does that cover one application of both eyes or just one eye? I would be interested in doing the lower portion of both eyes.

Nichole M.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Hi Nichole, Yes it is $99 for one application for the just the lower or just the upper only. I reccommend purchasing at least two applications for best results. We look forward to meeting you!

Q:

I bought a groupon for this company and got the eyeliner -- love it -- and I haven't gotten a touchup yet. I know that I can go within a year for $100 and I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to buy the 2 for $119 ( the 1 for $99 is the same price that I'd get anyway) -- but I noticed that it says that it expires in 180 days. If that's the case, I don't think I should buy the 2 visits for $119 but just pay the regular touch-up price of $100. I'd probably really only want to buy the 2nd one if I could use it a lot later. Thank you.

Debbie T.  asked on  Dec 18, 2012

A:

Hi Debbie, I'm so happy to hear your a loving your eyeliner! However, if you read in the fine print, this groupon is for new clients only but you can schedule your touch-up anytime within the year. The cost will be $100. We look forward to seeing you then!

Q:

Why would you need more than one application of "PERMANENT" makeup. How "permanent" is it?

Kathleen R.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

Hi Kathleen Great question. The answer is yes. Just like traditional tattooing, permanent cosmetics is placed into the dermal layer of the skin and is considered permanent. Meaning it is irreversable. However, depending on skin type, color choice, body chemistry to the pigment, sun exposure, different types of medications, and every day skin exfoliation to name a few, colors will fade over time. In which case, some clients will feel they need maintenance visits overtime to freshen up the color. We also work conservitively as not to go to dark or to thick because it is permanent. We have clients that will have a great result the very first time and won't need touch-up and others may feel they need all three. Most clients feel they need at least two visits for the best results. I, for example, have had my eyeliner for 17 years and have only touched it up twice and this is not uncommon. It is also not ucommon for clients to come in once a year to touch it up because of the above variables mentioned. If you have any other questions please feel free to schedule a complimentary consultation to make sure all of your questions are thoroughly answered. Thank you for your interest and we look forward to meeting you.

Q:

OK, so being the biggest wimp when it comes to pain, how painful is this procedure??

Laura B.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

Hi Laura, I bet you are not as wimpy as you think you are. ;) However, even the "wimpiest" of clients will be able to tolerate the procedure. The topicals we use make the procedure very comfortable in in fact some do not feel anything at all. Most describe it as being a "creepy" feeling or some describe it as sort of a scratchy feeling but not painful. We will work with you to make sure you are as comfortable and as relaxed as possible.

Q:

how much for eyebrows?

Eleanor O.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

Hi Eleanor, Eyebrows are $600 which includes two follow-up visits. We also offer a pay by session program so you can pay per visit. Follow-up visits are sometimes needed due to fading, light color choice or style adjustments. We work conservatively as not to go to dark, to thick. We can always add but we cannot take it away.

Q:

Is this a tattoo ? Is it painful? Is it invasive? Is it Organic?

Barb F.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

Hi Barb, Yes it is a tattoo. In 21 years of business, the majority of our clients feel it is very tolerable as we use topicals to numb the area and some do not feel any pain at all. In regards to being invasive. It depends on what you consider invasive. Tattooing is applied with a needle into the dermal layer of the skin causing minimal bleeding. Much like a cut, the skin usually heals over in just a couple days. All pigments have components of organic materials. We have never had any clients have a reaction to our pigments of which are held with the highest quality and standards in the industry.

Q:

Will you provide anesthesia and is it an extra cost?

Diane M.  asked on  Dec 17, 2012

A:

Hi DIane, Local anesthesia is not necessary for this procedure and especially around the eye area. It causes unneccessary swelling, distortion in the area to be worked, bruising and long term numbness after the procedure is performed. We use topical anesthetics to numb the area which makes the procedure comfortable and very tolerable. The largest majority of clients will leave without numbness, minimal bruising (if any) and slight swelling that last for anywhere from 24 to 48 hours. The topical is included.
