Q:

I am 72 years old and 50 pounds overweight, will your program be available and effective for someone my age?

Jan N.  asked on  Jan 11, 2013

A:

I can tell you that we do have patients in their 70s who have been successful on our program. As long as you are in otherwise good health, I can't see why the program would not be available and effective for you. Ultimately, this will be determined by the physician. If you are not able to participate in the program for a medical reason, we would provide a refund to you.

Q:

Is this shot like b12, or is it another word for b12? I see on your website that list, hcg, lipotropic, b12, So I'm confused as this shot is also b12 And do you combine this shot with any other shot to see good results?

Huong n.  asked on  Jan 11, 2013

A:

The lipotropic injections (Lipo-B) injections are a combination of methionine, inositol, choline, and B12. The B12 in the lipotropic injections is incorporated into the formulary to ensure proper catalysis for the other active ingredients, however, the dosage is very small. The B12 injections that we offer separately are approximately 10X the dosage of B12 that is in the lipotropic injections. The lipotropics can be combined with any other medications, including the B12 injections, although they don't necessarily have to be combined with other medications to see good results. We have some patients that are successful with just the lipotropics and we have some patients who combine the lipotropics with different medications. We work with each patient to find a solution that works best for them.

Q:

I've never heard of this and have about 20-30 lbs to loose: how many injections are necessary and how do they work?

julie s.  asked on  Jan 10, 2013

A:

The lipotropic injections are administered once weekly. The typical weight loss we see with patients following our diet plan is 1 to 3 pounds per week. You can read more about the lipotropic injections on our website http://www.sobobaweightloss.com/lipotropic-injections/
