Participants learn how to makes metal jewelry before creating small pieces of art themselves
About This Deal
- What’s included: Students choose between making a pair of earrings, two pendants, or two charms.
- During a 90-minute class, students learn jewelry skills such as punching a circle from a metal, cleaning and polishing, using an iron to melt solder onto copper, and imprinting a texture of choice. To get an antique look they will use patina and polishing tools to put a final touch on their creations.

For Beata Kacy, life is art. After all, she has spent her own exploring new mediums, discovering how far self-expression can take her. Her experience includes everything from digital design and photography to jewelry making. Beata runs Soigne, an art studio with classes and workshops. There, she teaches everything from jewelry making to soap making or even felting.
Students can pick a class from the studio's schedule to learn one of Beata's specialties, or explore other areas such as enameling, leatherwork, or forged jewelry. After making a necklace or chunky scarf, students can take their creations home.
