Instructor is very patient and takes time to understand what kinds of music you are interested in. Starts with the basics and builds upon them. As an older student taking instruction, I am impressed with the instructors knowledge of music theory and ability to 'read' the student and adjust as necessary to keep it fresh.

About A Chat with Sollohub Music

What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?

We believe in customized instruction, tailoring the lessons according to the students interests and goals. One size does not fit all. All our teachers are very equipped and experienced to accommodate all ages, levels, and styles.

Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?

We have pianos, keyboards, and guitars available for them to use if they don't have one already. The promo is a great way to see if this is something they would be interested in pursuing before they commit to purchasing an instrument.

What was the inspiration to start or run this business?

Straight out of music college, I became Head Guitar instructor at Stubb's Music, Tallahassee, FL. Then moved to Denver and became Head instructor at Musician's Superstore, Well's Music, and the Music and Arts Center in Denver. It was a natural step and always the goal to one day have my own school.

What do you love most about your job?

We love that we get to be such a big, positive, and life-changing part of peoples lives. Many of our students say it has become the best part of their lives and most anticipated part of their week. Music is a part of the daily experience, for many of us, one that we could not live without.
