  • A licensed professional injects unwanted veins with a saline-based solution. The solution collapses the veins, gradually fading them from view.

Across one or two visits, a registered nurse administers a series of up to 50 sclerotherapy injections to treat spider veins on both legs, causing the veins to collapse and eventually disappear into the body. The treatment requires no anesthetics and will not cause scars. Because the procedure is minimally invasive and involves no downtime, patients can return to normal activity almost immediately after the treatment. An ultrasound examination may precede the treatment to ensure the spider veins aren’t actually varicose veins.

About Soluna MD

Formerly a med spa, Soluna MD shifted gears in 2008 to focus more on the “med” aspect of the med spa, eschewing treatments whose job was only to pamper in favor of treatments that produced visible results, such as sclerotherapy, Botox, IPL facials, and chemical peels.
