Most young boys dream of being an astronaut or famous athlete. Not so for "Seth," whose mother has different plans for her son: sex enslavement. In Kept, a new play by Mia Kristin Smith, Seth aims to free himself -- but to do so, he must risk his relationships with everyone: his mother, two brothers and the other girls. Playwright Smith brings Seth to the stage as he breaks the rules, falls in love and sets himself free. Songs of Karibu presents this provocative adult drama, directed by Smith, at Atlanta's West End Performing Arts Center.
This show contains adult language and mature situations. It is not recommended for children under age 13.
