Sonya Salon & Spa owner Tanya Kaplun's journey through the beauty industry actually began more than a century ago before she even existed. Her great grandmother and the studio's namesake, Sonya Sternen, was the first in her family to go to beauty school—setting off a cross-generation chain reaction that eventually led Kaplun to open her own salon with a team of licensed stylists trained in the latest haircare techniques.
