The staff was very friendly even though we were the first ones in. We had excellent food and some nice drinks as well. Very nice dining experience. We will definitely be back.
  • Classic Moroccan cuisine
  • Tapas plates great for sharing

Morocco was the setting for the famous film Casablanca, a romance notable for depicting the largest bowl of hummus ever eaten by Peter Lorre. Dine on Mediterranean fare in full color with today's Groupon: for $15, you get $35 worth of Pan-Mediterranean fare at Souk.

The culinary sorcerers at Souk conjure up hearty platters of Moroccan fare. Gather friends to share warm tapas plates such as sautéed halloumi cheese ($8.85) or feed a lifetime of imaginary friends with the falafel ($7.95). The evening munch can start with sandwiches such as the shawarma, which bridges the gap between pita halves with a savory mélange of grilled marinated chicken and veggies slathered in garlic aioli ($12.95). Or sample the most regal flavors of Morocco without stealing a sheik's lunchbox by indulging in the lamb tangine, in which a tasty trio of stewed lamb shank, carrots, and dried apricots doze on a bed of couscous ($21.95).
