  • $13 for admission for two to Nights at the Museum ($27 value)

Nights at the Museum take place on the last Friday of the month from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. During the week, history buffs can partake in the current exhibit— Afterlife: Tombs and Treasures of Ancient Egypt—which features over 200 authentic artifacts including a full-size reproduction of the burial chamber of Thutmose III, fine jewelry, and painted reliefs.

South Florida Science Center and Aquarium

At South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, a variety of exhibits connect visitors with the endless possibilities made available to them thanks to science. Whether it's learning computer coding or watching a swarm of native butterflies, visitors of all ages can find something to expand their knowledge while enjoying plenty of hands-on activities.

  • Eye Catcher: the 10,000-gallon Aquariums of the Atlantic, which is home to native fish such as Queen Angels, Moray Eels, and seahorses
  • Don't Miss: the Conservation Course, an 18-hole mini-golf course designed by Jim Fazio and Gary Nicklaus. Located in the Science Center's backyard amid babbling water, butterfly gardens, and lush landscaping, the course also educates as it entertains, as each hole is named for animals or plants indigenous to South Florida.
