I do accept Highmark Insurance. However, it can not be combined with the Groupon. There are a few scenarios that you should consider before purchasing the Groupon:
1. If you have a deductible that is several hundred to over one-thousand dollars, you would be responsible for the entire cost of the services at a chiropractic office until the deductible is reached. Therefore, at the very least, you could expect to pay $190 for 5 adjustments (not including the rehab or cold laser).
2. If you do not have a deductible, then you will very likely have to pay a copay for each treatment AND the evaluation at a chiropractic office. You can find out what your copay is by looking at the front of your insurance card. The copay for chiropractic treatment is under SP on the card (standing for specialist). Often times the copay is $25 or greater, so you could expect to pay at least $150 for an evaluation and 5 treatments when using your insurance.
3. If you were not interested in 5 treatments, then insurance may be the better bet. For example, if you have a $20 copay, and you only wanted 1 treatment, then the cost would be $40 for your first treatment instead of $49.
I know this is a lot of information, so please feel free to call me at 412-833-4601 if you want to discuss your situation before you make a purchase. Thank you for your interest!
