What You'll Get
Every golf course goes through a rebellious phase, sprouting water hazards, obnoxious sand traps, or an anchor tattoo on its back nine. Curtail unruly landscape behavior with today’s Groupon: for $40, you get one round of golf for two people with a cart rental (up to a $37.97 value each, including tax) and 40 range balls each (a $3.50 value each) at South Lakes Golf Course in Jenks (up to a $82.94 total value, including tax).
Designed by Oklahoma native Randy Heckenkemper, South Lakes Golf Course's links feature lush greens, seven sparkling ponds, and a championship-style layout. More than 6,400 yards sprawl from tee boxes, sporting scenic views, the occasional wildlife sighting, and glimpses of air traffic controllers interpretive dancing down the runways of the nearby Jenks-Riverside Airport. Twosomes can traverse 18 verdant fairways with the included cart rental, tap range balls across a 13,000-square-foot putting green, or pepper shots down a driving range that is over-seeded each winter to keep target greens lush. Golfers should leave metal-spiked shoes and ceremonial maces at home, as South Lakes is a spikeless facility.
South Lakes Golf Course's rates fluctuate throughout the week. It also offers discounted senior and twilight rates, as well as a family package on Sunday evenings after 5 p.m.

About South Lakes Golf Course
The Randy Heckenkemper–designed layout of South Lakes Golf Course winds its way through seven lakes, resulting in a watery, 6,413-yard wonderland worthy of exploration. The course’s sinuous fairways slink around the lakes at many points, forcing players to aim carefully for the dry bermuda grass. Large bentgrass greens crown each hole, offering a welcome reward for golfers who manage to keep their balls dry or those who require a running start in order to give themselves a jumping high-five. And when the round is done, players can always head back to the clubhouse area to utilize the 13,000-square-foot practice putting green or all-grass driving range.
