South Loop Lessons offers private violin and piano instruction for beginner and intermediate students ages 4 and up, as well as voice lessons for children, teens, and adults who want to learn or improve their vocal skills, learn to sing for the first time, or brush up before a gig.
Do you provide any materials? What should your students expect to bring?
Violin students will need to bring their own violin, otherwise only a pencil and notepad is needed for piano or voice. If you have books from previous lessons, please bring those so we can evaluate your level. If there is music you want to learn or need help with, please bring that to your lesson.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
Our teachers started lessons early in life and we have a real understanding of how it feels to learn to play an instrument or learn to sing and we know it can change your life. We look forward to helping you learn no matter your age!
What do you love most about your job?
We love seeing people experience the joy of music! We love seeing the joy on their faces as they learn something new and grasp a new talent for the first time, pick it back up for the second time, or just realize that it helps them relax and gives them a fun hobby to pursue!
