Jake Kaminski was born into a foodie family, way before being a foodie was even a thing. The son of the owner of a meat company in Chicago, Kaminski learned from a young age how to make sausages—a skill he carried throughout his life, and one he teaches today at South Water Provisions. After cycling through both kitchen and managerial restaurant jobs, Kaminski picked up with his family and relocated to sunny Dallas, where he put his know-how into creating a top-notch catering company. In addition to catered breakfasts, lunches, and dinners for all matters of occasions, Kaminski also teaches classes on cooking techniques, where visitors can learn to make sausages themselves or the ins and out of barbecue.
