Great location easy in and parking, bring quarters as you must pay a meter. The man who is in charge is very knowledgable about all railroads especially the south west. You will learn a great deal from this museum at any age. And a table of trains for toddlers is available right inside.

What a wonderful time my toddler son had here at the museum. It's definitely a must do if you are visiting (or a local) to experience some history of Tucson.

It was wonderful! We went with our friends, and they had a great time too! The museum was packed with so much history. I liked that you could listen to the docent, as well as read about it, and use the phones to hear about it. Lots of stuff in there! And then we went to the train outside! The docent there actually worked on one, and had all kinds of real life stories as well and lots of technical knowledge my engineer husband really enjoyed. When he spoke I began to feel as if I was there. He also told us about the modern trains as they went by. It was a wonderful weather day as well. We would recommend it to everyone! It is important to know history and pass it on to the younger ones! Thanks!
