What services does your business offer and what makes your business stand out from the competition?
Southern Living Property Management and Sales understands the real estate market has changed and so we have too. We now offer many alternative services to help sell or rent your home including flat fee services, a la carte services, lease purchases, and property management just to name a few.
What was the inspiration to start or run this business?
I worked for another company for many years and continually saw the need for a more diverse company. In 2007, the market crashed and homeowners struggled to find help. I wanted to start a company that we could help every individual who walked through my door and so we have created Southern Living.
What do you love most about your job?
I love people and that’s what my job is all about. Helping someone is the most gratifying feeling I think you can ever have and I do this on a daily basis. People who need help or who feel lost because they were turned down by a lender or can’t sell their home, I get the thank you when we close.
What is the best reaction you’ve ever gotten from a customer?
I get lots of great feedback from clients, but I think my favorite was a family who purchased a home with us through a lease purchase. Her husband had passed away during the term and we were still able to get her closed on her own. She was so thankful her children could stay in their home!
