The tooth fairy still rewards adults who keep their teeth nice, leaving grownup gifts, such as issues of the Economist and Pontiac Azteks, under their pillows. Grin and win with this Groupon.

Crowns cover entire teeth to address medical issues, usually after tooth decay or a root canal, and sometimes to correct misaligned teeth. During the procedure, the dentist files down the existing tooth and covers it with a sturdy crown whose color and shape is designed to blend with the surrounding teeth. Crowns, like everlasting gobstoppers, typically last between 10 and 15 years.
More commonly used for aesthetic procedures, veneers are thin shells made of porcelain, gold, or titanium. They bond to teeth to conceal discoloration, correct misalignment, fill tooth gapping, or conceal chips. Veneers are quite strong and typically last for years without needing replacement.
Both veneer and crown treatments should take about one hour to perform. In some cases, the dentist will recommend either one or the other, and in other cases the client will be able to choose.
