Q:

I was told that 19 VHS tapes could be converted for the $75 offer and 11 for the $35 offer. That does not seem to be equitable since I would assume there would be at least twice as many tapes for the higher-priced deal. If I ordered 2 of the $35 offer, I could get 22 tapes converted for $70 instead of 19 for $75. Can the offer be handled in that manner or have I misunderstood the quantities for each deal?

Mary A.  asked on  Jan 8, 2013

A:

Hey Mary, it all depends on which DVDs you order! You can view our prices at southtree.com/order. Thanks!

Q:

Some of my slides are dusty. Do I need to clean them? If so, how? Also, what is the cost for converting each Super 8, 3 in. movie reel to DVD? My reels are not labeled. Do you have suggestions as to how I might preview the reels? I have no projector. Thanks! VHall

Veletta H.  asked on  Jan 7, 2013

A:

Hey Veletta, you can clean slides with a microfiber cloth or lightly dust with a computer duster. Thanks! Each 3" reel is $15.95 to convert. Thanks!

Q:

My mothers old slides are not in a carousel but in oblong things that fit on her projecter, most of them anyway. Should I leave them in those to mail or take them out to send them? The main thing I want is for them to be put on the dvd roughly in order of oldest to newest. Can you do that? Should I put them in envlopes with the dates on the envelopes?

LaDene T.  asked on  Jan 5, 2013

A:

Yes - all redemption instructions are included on the Groupon once you have purchased.

Annette B.  from  Self  replied on  Jan 6, 2013

A:

Hi LaDene! If you can e-mail info @ southtree.com they will be able to help answer your specific question. In most cases we just need the slides, not any housing or storage device. Thanks!
