Q:

Is it possible to be able to label these photos once we get them back and they are on the DVD? Are all photo sizes charged the $.59 since they made some rather odd-sized photos in the 1930's and 1940's? Can one, also, have a certain amount of photos placed on each DVD - or does it have to be all filled even if you want to split them into time periods, events, or families? Thanks! Joanie

Joan M.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

Hey Joanie, yes, once you have your DVD back with your photos on it you can make any changes you would like. And yes, it is a flat rate of $0.59 per photo; we like to keep our pricing simple! Normally, all photos go onto one DVD until it is filled. However, if you would like to have it done on separate DVDs, you will just need to make a clear note to the technician stating exactly what you want! Thanks!

Q:

I have home movies that when i was first learning to use the video camera, there were times when I forgot to turn the camera off and have minutes to an hour of garbage on the tape. When you convert them over to DVD, do you just copy everything or can you edit things out like that if I request it? I am also confused over the terms. I can buy three so say I do the 75 option and order 3 of those. I can only then send enough videos to do one 75. option at a time? Another thing I want to get straight.... I ship my videos and pay to ship them and then you apply the 75. to my order. I then have an additional shipping charge of 9.95 that I will also have to pay. Is that correct?

barbara s.  asked on  Jan 30, 2013

A:

Hey Barbara, we convert everything true to the original. We do not do any editing to your footage. If you would like the option of editing yourself, I would suggest the Data DVD. You are correct! Each Groupon must be used on separate orders, so you would have to split your orders up to use all of your Groupons. The Groupons do not cover shipping because it is a FedEx service, not a Southtree service, so yes you would have the additional $9.95 charge. You can get started at southtree.com/order, and there you can submit your order and enter your Groupon redemption code to get your discount! Thanks!
