Q:

I have 6 hours of video on each VHS tape. How much is that to put onto DVD? Wasn't sure how much would fit from 1 VHS to 1 DVD.

Lori A.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

Hey Lori, we charge a flat rate per tape, regardless of length or format! Each tape you send in will be transferred to its own DVD. To view our different options and pricing go to southtree.com/order. Thanks!

Q:

Is the conversion for 3" 8mm the same as for the 3" super 8? How many can I get transferred for the $250value groupon? Are all 3" reels transferred to 1 DVD? Is there an additional cost to to transfer to 2 different DVD's? How long after the order is complete do I have to order copies? Is there a discount for bulk orders, say 10+ copies?

Beata K.  asked on  Feb 25, 2013

A:

Hey Beata! Yes, the conversion price is the same for all formats! We charge by the size. 3" reels are $15.95 per reel, so you could get 15 reels transferred for the $250. We can fit up to 2,000 feet of film onto one DVD. You may make a note to send in with your order clearly stating which reels you would like on which DVDs, and we can do that at no extra cost. If you would like copies, those need to be ordered online when you originally place your order. We do bulk discounts for orders over $1500. Thanks!

Q:

How many VHS-C tapes can be transferred for the $100 value? If I bought the $250 value groupon can my video tapes be sent to you and completed in a couple different orders? I would be uneasy sending all my tapes at one time with the possibility of them getting lost or damaged in the mail? Thanks

Debbie W.  asked on  Feb 22, 2013

A:

Hey Debbie! You can get 7 of the Standard DVDs transferred for the $100 value! All orders must be sent in all at once. If you are uneasy, I would suggest purchasing 2 or 3 of the $100 ones and placing 3 different orders, and sending them in at different times! Thanks!
