Q:

If I buy the $75 Groupon- ( worth $250) how many VHS tapes could I send in and could I do them all with that one groupon? I have many many tapes that need copied and this may be my solution- I am excited! Do you do one VHS tape per DVD tape? Do you return the VHS tapes? Who pays for shipping there and back? Thanks. Nancy

Nancy G.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

Hey Nancy! You could transfer 27 tapes with $250 Groupon if you choose our budget DVD option! It is indeed one VHS tape per DVD and we do return the VHS tapes. We are a mail-in company so you are responsible for mailing your tapes to us and we mail the finished product with your tapes back for a flat rate of $9.95 (FedEx insured). Thanks!

Q:

Can you play a data copy on a DVD player and watch it on TV?

Catherine H.  asked on  Apr 14, 2013

A:

Hey Catherine! There is a good chance it wouldn't work on your DVD player because it is in an uncompressed file format that's designed for editing programs such as Picasa or iMovie. Thanks!

Q:

Can you do any size of video tape? Is there a surcharge for long video tapes (max 2 hours)? If I want to be able to pull materiel off DVD for editing, I assume that means I need to do the data type DVD?

Mike A.  asked on  Apr 14, 2013

A:

Hey Mike! It doesn't matter how long your tapes are, there's just one price. Our dataDVD is certainly the best option if you plan to edit your videos. Thanks!

Q:

Hello, the specifics of this deal state that I can buy three of them, but only use one per order. How would that work? I have a bunch of film that would probably cost close to $1000 at your regular prices. Could I use multiple Groupons for this, or would I need to send in separate smaller shipments? We have been meaning to do this for years, so look forward to getting it done. Thanks.

Roy W.  asked on  Apr 14, 2013

A:

Hi Roy! You can redeem the 3 Groupons separately and then mail in your collection in 3 batches. Glad we are able to help you get this project completed!

Q:

Even though I read your answer above about using the safe & secure Fed Ex, are you located in or near Houston so I could personally bring my family movie films to you and pick up the finished DVD's? Thanks, Sheryl

Sheryl D.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Hey Sheryl! We are located in Chattanooga, TN but we've never had a customer that has lost their tape or had it damaged in transit and with FedEx and UPS you can insure your package for extra security and assurance. If we can help you out with any more information, just let us know! Thanks!

Q:

I have four 5"cases and and one 7" case of 8mm film (70's) They are labeled 1,2,3,4,5. Would I be able to get them on one DVD, in order, and what would the cost be? Would this groupon go towards that cost? Thank you so much

Marybeth C.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Hey Marybeth! We can definitely do that for you and they would all fit on one DVD. The Groupon could definitely go towards those transfers. You can see pricing and other options at southtree.com/order Thanks!
