Q:

I have many Digital 8 videos of my daughter's early childhood. It isn't clear how you determine the cost of transferring the data. . .is a transfer for however many tapes it takes to fill 2-hours on a DVD, or is the 'one video' counted as ONE Digital 8 video, regardless of the length? I don't want to assume that you will combine tapes onto one complete DVD. Thanks . . .

Kim H.  asked on  Apr 15, 2013

A:

Hey Kim! The cost is simply for the whole tape, regardless of the length. We don't combine tapes onto one DVD!

Q:

I have around 900 slides (9 trays) that I would like to have converted. Would this be on DVD or CD ? Also, using the special deals, what combination could I purchase and what would be the cost for all 900 slides.

Billy R.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Hi Billy, slides are .59 cents each so around $531 dollars. This would be on a DVD disc for your computer. The $75 voucher is good for $250 in services. Thanks!

Q:

Hello, I have 20-30, 8mm reel to reel home movies that are 35+ years old. I would really like to get these digitized as this offer appealed to me. 1) Please let me know if my movies are to be shipped and how this is handled as these movies are irreplaceable. 2) I see on this offer that there are 2, a $ 35 and a $ 75. For the amount of reels that I have, please advise which one would be best for me. 3) When the reels have been converted, do I get the reels and the dvd(s) back at the same time or in separate shipments? 4) Where is Southtree located out of, which city, state? Thank you,

Jim N.  asked on  Apr 10, 2013

A:

Hi Jim! Our processing facility is located in Chattanooga, TN. We always send back the original reels and the new DVDs. They are sent back in the same shipment via FedEx. We've processed over 20,000 order last year through our mail-in service. I would recommend the $75 Groupon as film for 3" reels starts at $15.95. You can find more information on our film service here
