Q:

If I convert several hundred slides now in carousels to digital, how do you recommend I ship them to maintain their order, and how can I have them set to appropriate background music?

Paul P.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Hey Paul! You can ship them in the carousels and our technicians will transfer and capture each of those by hand. Some order is certainly maintained because of the process the technicians use, however we cannot guarantee that the exact order is maintained. While we do not do any editing or add music, once they're transferred to digital format here, you could easily do that at home. Thanks!

Q:

Hi I have miniDV tapes that I have little time to capture to FCPX, now that I shoot DSLR video. Most of my tapes are not full length but do you still charge per tape and not by how much content in the tape?

vicky c.  asked on  Apr 12, 2013

A:

Hi Vicky, We can certainly help you digitize those MiniDV tapes. I'd recommend our DataDVD option and you'll get those files back as MPEG4s you can edit. They are a flat-rate per tape of just $15.95 each. Thanks!

Q:

Ultimately I think I will probably need to purchase three Groupon deals from you. I want to be sure you can do it before I purchase. (1) I have at least a dozen VHS tapes of old movies. You can transfer them to DVD, right? I think I saw the coupon would cover 11 tapes? (2) I am also wondering about photos. On a previously deal on Groupon from another vendor said they would only transfer 4" x 6" photos. Will do you any size? Can you put them in categories if I group them accordingly? Thank you for your input.

Douglas S.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Hi Douglas, Yes of course we can convert your vhs tapes for you to DVD, they're just $12.95 per tape. Yes we process any size photo print. We do not categorize them or group them though. For more info visit www.southtree.com. Thanks!
