Q:

What about slides- we have about 1000. Of them. Do they go on DVD's? Can all DVD's go on a player to see on the TV, and in the commuter. What would the cost be ? Thanks, Lynn

Lynn S.  asked on  Apr 13, 2013

A:

Hi Lynn, Slides are just .59 cents each. They can be viewed, stored, shared, or edited on your computer. Some DVD players can also play them but not all as they're JPEG files on the DVD. Thanks!

Q:

What exactly does "Limit 3 per household, 1 per order " mean?

Diane  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Sorry for the confusion. This means one household can purchase 3 Groupons, but can only use 1 Groupon per order. If you purchase 3 for example, you would need to place 3 separate orders.

Diane T.  from  Groupon  replied on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Hey Diane! You can purchase 3 groupons per household but you'll just need to process and mail three separate orders, one for each code. You can get started at southtree.com/order. Thanks!

Q:

Hi, in one of the groupon question feeds you indicated you would only receive 19 standard dvd's when converting from VHS. Why is this? When I do the math at 8.95 it looks like we should get 27. Thanks

Nicole C.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Hey Nicole! We have a couple of different options for DVDs. The standard DVD includes a premium grade case and custom titles and is $12.95 (you could get 19 transferred with the $250 voucher). The budget DVD is just $8.95 and doesn't include custom titles. Thanks!

Q:

Some of my old photos are sun-damaged and very washed out. How do you determine if they are restorable? Should I send them for an evaluation? If they are too far gone to create an image, do you return them at minimal charge?

Paula S.  asked on  Apr 10, 2013

A:

Hi Paula! If the images are very washed out, we may not be able to process them. We do basic color correction on every image, but if the images are damaged they may need to be restored, which is a service we currently do not offer.

Q:

Hi, my name is Pedro and my question is as follow; I have about 8 to 10 VHS tapes. The deal of $35.00 what applies to ? $35.00 per VHS ? Does it matters if the VHS is full or not ? Please advice. Thanks !

Pedro G.  asked on  Apr 10, 2013

A:

Hi Pedro! Thanks for your question. We offer a few different VHS transfer options - depending on if you want titles printed on your discs or if you want digital copies to edit. Pricing starts at $8.95 per tape, so if you want the basic offering the $35 Groupon will work, but if you want some advanced options the larger offer might be better. All of our pricing is per tape, regardless of length. Thanks!
