Driven by the culinary stylings of Chef Ola Fendert, the kitchen at SP2 Communal Bar + Restaurant crafts a compelling menu of New American cuisine—and, of course, Fendert's famous ginger-soy-glazed baby back ribs. Described by SanJose.com as "a little slice of the San Francisco dining scene in the South Bay," SP2's interior is chic and rustic, made up largely of repurposed and upcycled materials. At the long, polished wood bar, drink slingers pour beer and mix cocktails, including the Cool Spice Squared, composed of gin, house-made jalapeño-ginger syrup, fresh-muddled cucumber, lime juice, and ginger beer.
