We must have come to this place on an "off" day as the place did not seem to be staffed for our party (which we had multiple appointments throughout the day and was booked months in advance). The doors were locked when we arrived (even though one of our friends was already in there receiving a treatment), and no one to help or open the rest of the spa for us to go to (including the front desk of the hotel).

Me and husband had the couples 60 minute massages and 30 minute facials and it was fabulous. The spa is modern and clean and located inside the Doubletree hotel. It was nice and relaxing and our masseuses were fantastic and made sure we were comfortable with the pressure they were using. Great experience and will do it again.

Been here a few times. Always great. I just wish the women’s steam room was open more often. Last two times I’ve been I’ve had to use the men’s. They weren’t any men there but still.

About Spa Gaia

As part of the Gaia Napa Valley Hotel and Spa, one of California's first sustainable, green hotels, Spa Gaia indulges clients with skin and body treatments equally inspired by natural ingredients and Eastern philosophies. With the Bali Spice, for example, clients have their back exfoliated before sipping ginger tea in a spiced bath and finishing with a spiced-oil massage. Sometimes, those natural ingredients are even found locally, as with The Crush, an exfoliation and massage done with crushed cabernet grapes. The menu also includes facials for various skin types, as well as organic mani-pedis with food-grade paraffin that would probably still be rude to eat.
