Q:

Spa Sasse's website indicates they use two types of lasers, the ND-Yag 1065nm laser, which is indicated to be effective on all skin types, and the Apogee, which is recommended for people with fair skin and dark hair. I have fair skin and dark hair and would like to schedule an appointment for the Apogee machine. Sasse's receptionist indicated via phone that the Apogee machine is currently on backorder - is this Groupon also good for a sesson using the Apogee machine, and if so - is there a delivery date for the Apogee? Thanks!

I'm very sorry that we were unable to get to your question! Since this Groupon is only available for purchase until midnight tonight, I suggest contacting the merchant directly at (503) 228-8266. Thanks for your interest!

Q:

Can I purchase two "deals"? One for myself and one for a friend?

Sue O.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Yes, you may purchase multiple Groupons for this deal.

If you want to purchase gifts for multiple people or place an additional order for yourself, you will have to make separate transactions.

Q:

Would an upper lip be considered a small area in terms of hair removal. Also, is 6 treatments enough to prevent the hair from growing back?

Christina J.  asked on  Apr 11, 2013

A:

Yes, the upper lip is considered a small area. You can review all valid areas by size, here.

Hair grows in cycles, or stages. These stages of hair growth are; the growing stage, the resting stage, and the dying/falling out stage. These stages or cycles are also called anagen, catagen and telagen. Hair is susceptible to damage only in the growing, or "anagen" phase of hair growth. At any given time, only about 25% of our hair is in the anagen phase. These hair growth cycles change every four to six weeks. For the most success, treatments are preformed every four to six weeks for a minimum of four treatments, regardless of the type of laser used.
