The festival is in Wickham Park and runs from November 17 to January 1. All proceeds will benefit the Boy Scouts of America. A fun run kicks off the event on November 17, with regular activities beginning on the 18th. Its hours are 6:30 p.m.–10 p.m. every night.
Space Coast Lightfest
Space Coast Lightfest transforms Wickham Park's mile-long paths into a winter wonderland, navigable primarily by car. The entire display includes more than 2.5 million lights, and includes glowing sculptures and animated displays in addition to wrapped trees and archways. The glowing trail ends with a grand finale of a 200-foot long light tunnel; guests drive through more than 30,000 bulbs, which bathes them in an ever-changing array of colors.
Though the display caters to those in cars, there are more ways to get around. Visitors to the park can hop into a hayride for a more stately experience. Additionally, the Lightfest typically has one car-free day on the calendar, known as the Stroll. On Stroll days, people walk the length of the park, enjoying live entertainment, horseback rides, bounce houses, food and craft vendors, and even a visit with Santa so you can ask him for a special present or finally confront him about his cholesterol levels.
