About Special Ops Race
Wipe that smile off your face—this isn't your average mud run. Special Ops Race is an elite obstacle course, drawing its challenges from the same hurtles that special-operations soldiers train on in the military. Participants can tackle the shorter, but still intense Ranger 5K with 20 obstacles, or they can take on the behemoth Green Beret 10-Mile that challenges worthy participants with 35 military-inspired obstacles, including a low-wire crawl, zig-zag walls, a tire run, and hand-to-hand combat.
Some proceeds of the event benefit the efforts of the Special Operations Warrior Foundation, which provides grants and counseling to surviving children of Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps special-ops members.
