Q:

I have a question re this "$40 for $250 Toward Prescription Lenses and Frames" deal -- is this for the first frame/lenses? Some language on the Groupon implies that it's for a second pair. How much total could I expect to pay for frames and lenses after applying the coupon? In other words, please break down for me the cost of frames (and the range of pricing) and the cost of lenses. I have a recent prescription from my optometrist. Thanks.

ERIC N.  asked on  Oct 11, 2012

A:

Dear Eric: You would purchase the Groupon for $40.00 and you receive a $250.00 voucher valid toward a complete prescription lens and frame purchase. As we mention in our offer, our average frame is priced at $259.00, lenses start at $159.00, this all depends on if you are wearing single vision lenses ($159.00+) bifocal ($199.00+) or a progressive bifocal (299.00+). With this offer we have extended to you, the purchaser of the Groupon, $200.00 toward a second complete prescription lens and frame purchase. This can be a purchase for yourself or for a loved one. Thank you for your inquiry.
