About Speed of Life Tours
Monuments, the White House, and gargoyles: one of things may not seem like the others, but they're all fixtures in the nation's capital. And they're all subjects of Speed of Life Tours' walking jaunts through Washington, DC. Among them, a tour of gargoyles leads visitors to the National Cathedral to marvel at elaborate stone carvings of horses, birds, and monsters, such as the fearsome raccoon. Elsewhere in the city, a walking tour of the National Mall acquaint folks with the Washington Monument and the Lincoln Memorial, as guides share the area's backstory.
But Speed of Life Tours doesn't just grant its visitors explorations of DC. The guides also orchestrate train trips to New York City and even lead guests out of the country for in-depth tours of Costa Rica. During these adventures—the company's forte—the guides introduce visitors to Costa Rica's rain forests and wildlife with activities including zip-lining and whitewater rafting. They also dedicate downtime to lounging on the expansive beaches and refueling at the city's cafes and restaurants.
