About Sposita's Ristorante
Sposita's Ristorante doesn't fill its dining room with the gurgling waterfalls, crystal chandeliers, ice sculptures, or punch bowls full of diamonds that many restaurants do. It doesn't have to. In its stark simplicity—tables draped in black, a print of the Mona Lisa joining jerseys on the wall—it keeps the diners' focus where it belongs: on the food. Homemade linguini and cheese ravioli combine with everything from Norwegian salmon to Cajun cream sauce to create a menu of 10 deep, rich pasta plates. And pastas just scratch the surface; Sposita's team also excels in meaty Italian mains including hand-cut filet mignon flavored with housemade zip sauce. For their efforts, Sposita's team has earned renown, attracting not only the casual diner but celebrities such as former Detroit Piston Earl Cureton.
