$25 for $50 Worth of Children’s Designer Clothing
Designer clothing and accessories for children from newborns to 8 year olds includes Joe’s jeggings and jeans ($45–$49), infant dresses by Bebemonde ($50), and Aden & Anais sleep sacks ($45).
Despite the fashionable labels, such as Stella McCartney and Joe’s Jeans, not a single item at Sprout Kids is for adults. The entire store is stocked with designer clothing, outwear, and accessories for newborns through eight year-olds, all to match the trendy North Shore neighborhood’s “fashion forward” perspective, as manager Aly Pedowitz told the Highland Park Patch. Parents stroll through the store, browsing white shelves filled with cardigans, dresses, pea coats, and pajamas for their youngster. A collection of furniture, such as cribs and chairs, switches up the feng shui of nurseries and kitchens. Meanwhile, the energy kids might otherwise use for temper tantrums manifest itself in the form of strutting an in-house runway or playing with the shop’s collection of stuffed animals.
“The clothing is beautiful and great for special occasions, but very expensive.”
“Had no idea about this store. I figured with my first born on the way, that I should give the store a try. Love it, so cute! Told them I can't wait to come back in...”
