Trainers work indoors or block off a parking lot near the gym for 45-minute boot-camp sessions, which begin with warm-ups and stretches. Then, trainers challenge their groups with circuit training and plyometrics and throw in a little competition with timed obstacle and relay races. The staff makes sure there's a water cooler nearby so campers can stay hydrated. Although all campers practice the exercises, the program allows participants to go their own pace. The trainers customize exercises for different ages and fitness levels. This creates a workout that challenges participants while remaining accessible. Bootcamps are held outdoors during the spring, summer, and fall. They are held indoors during the winter.
