About Squaw Valley, Lake Tahoe

Known as a winter sports destination and host of the 1960 Winter Games, Squaw Valley also offers an expansive selection of summer sightseeing and activities. Guests can ride the Aerial Tram a full 2,000 feet to High Camp for views of the High Sierra and Lake Tahoe at an airy elevation of 8,200 feet. They can also explore hiking trails designed for all abilities, or take part in complimentary lawn games, disc golf (disc not provided) and geocaching. For an additional charge, they can take a dip in the High Camp swimming pool and hot tub or zoom around on the the Olympic sized roller rink, all before heading to Granite Bistro for a lunch overlooking the pool.
