About SRQ Grill
One part deli, two parts homey diner, SRQ serves American comfort food a short bagel toss from Sarasota Bradenton International Airport. In the brand-new eatery, cylindrical hanging lights throw a glow on the dining room's cinnamon-red walls and wide-board hardwood floors. Plump muffins and fresh fruit sit atop a counter constructed of similar wood planking. Every day for breakfast, lunch, and now dinner, waiters weave between the padded blue- and green-checkered upholstered chairs with french toast and stuffed omelets, as well as sandwiches stacked with Dietz & Watson deli meats. At dinner, even heartier plates emerge, with chicken pot pie, scratch-made meatloaf, and beef tenderloin mingling with hot sandwiches and burgers. Free WiFi and several flat-screen TVs keep guests plugged in to the present, and a Dietz & Watson wood barrel reminds diners that the 19th century happened. Meanwhile, an eternally delightful implement, the flower, brightens up each table.
