St. Louis Bar Cycle
Though it drives up to 16 passengers to destinations of their choice, the St. Louis Bar Cycle party bus never runs out of power. Passengers power the cycle on tours of neighborhood bars or breweries, during bachelor and bachelorette parties, and to sporting events. Bar stools lining the bus's side counters sit above a set of pedals for each occupant, and riders work together to travel at slow or more strenuous speeds while completing parallel-parking tests. A staff member helms the vehicle, following the group's customizable routes or guiding them on a predetermined checklist of popular neighborhood watering holes. If the street becomes too steep or the participants choose to wear the beer goggles they got in drivers ed class, an electric-assist motor can be switched on to give pedaling feet a rest. Passengers can always play their own music, or listen to a provided selection from speakers attached to a built-in CD and mp3 player.
