The walls of Casa Loma Ballroom have heard some soulful notes in their 91 years. In it's lifetime, the ballroom has welcomed famous voices such as Frank Sinatra and Bill Haley and the Comets to perform on its stage while dancers cut loose on the floor. Today, the ballroom is still bringing in big bands and opening up its floating wood dance floor for ballroom, swing, and rock and roll steps. During regularly scheduled performances, visitors can even turn up early for a free lesson to ensure their moves draw a crowd on the floor. And, the calendar brings plenty of exciting events the rest of the week, Friday nights are especially popular since dancers can strut their stuff while accompanied by a 24-piece orchestra. In addition to hosting hopping weekends, the ballroom is also available for weddings and other special events.
